“Hell or Hells”, is a term used to interpret Shakyamuni’s teachings of the forces operating in our Samsaric mind and perceptions etc. Hell, because these mental experiences derail our thoughts of enlightenment. Often these forces are given personages and characteristics in Buddhist teachings.
